Application Information
This application will be processed immediately, as long as it is accompanied by a non-refundable cdn$45 application fee, and a refundable cdn$250 security deposit.
Payment
Full payment of fees must be received prior to the housing fee deadline.
- Fall semester housing fee is due by June 30th
- Winter semester housing fee is due by November 15th
- Summer semester housing fee is due by April 14th
Current residents have first choice of rooms, then any other unpaid rooms are released to incoming residents. New incoming residents who have not paid their housing fees by the deadline will then be placed on a wait list. Rooms are designated on a first applied, paid in full basis, prior to the start of your program. Housing fees are payable by semester only.
Cancellation
In order to receive a refund of your security deposit and/or housing fees, your application must be cancelled in writing 30 days prior to the start of the semester. The refund cheque will be received in 4-6 weeks
Room Availability
During fall and winter semeters we do not rent to anyone who is not a student at TRU, so you will have to show us proof of your admisson when you arrive. However, in the summer, from May through August 15th, OCH opens its door to all groups/clubs/teams and conferences. For more information please contact OCH for details.
Early Arrivals
If you plan to arrive early, please contact OCH. Check-in weekends are always chaotic so beat the rush by paying small fee for every day you arrive before the stated first day of check-in. (Saturday before start of school).
