Security Service

On-Campus Housing security cameras observe and record the outside of the buildings, (the property grounds) grounds, limited parking areas and both up and down stairs in Central Rez. There are security personnel who patrol the grounds and buildings to ensure safety. Security's hours are 9pm to 5am, 7 days a week in the fall and winter semesters and from 8pm to 4am, 7 days a week in the summer semester. The TRU Foot Patrol program is a student-run volunteer organization designed to provide a safe alternative to walking alone for students of TRU. The Foot Patrol not only patrols the campus but also will give you a safe walk to your car, class or dorm room. You can arrange for this service by going to the Student Society office and arranging for a walk or using any of the yellow security phones on-campus to request a walk.
